Confio Software Exceeds First Quarter Sales Projections for Record Growth

BOULDER, Colo. - May 8, 2012 - Today Confio^™ Software, the makers of the award-winning Ignite database performance analysis software, announced the company achieved record growth during the first quarter of 2012. This is the strongest first quarter in the company's history and marks the ninth consecutive quarter of double-digit revenue increases.

The company attributes its positive trending in Q1 to the increased deployment of databases in virtualized environments. Since unveiling its Ignite for VMware software solution in 2011, Confio has helped numerous enterprise organizations realize the benefits of operating their databases in a virtual environment and achieve successful physical to virtual transitions. Because Confio was a market leader in deploying performance management solutions for this industry trend, it has successfully capitalized on its product.

Ongoing enhancements to Confio's flagship product, Ignite, also continue to fuel the company's growth and help its DBA customers stay ahead of database performance issues. In May Confio released Ignite 8.2 which extends the company's mission to deliver tools that identify, pinpoint and resolve the pain points experienced by SQL Server, Oracle, VMware, DB2 and Sybase database administrators (DBAs).
