With so many organizations using database solutions from Oracle, ensuring consistent database performance is essential. InfoWorld recently reported that an upcoming webinar in May will include several experts who will offer a set of best practices so this goal is achieved.

The news source asserted that companies are demanding their data is available at all times, but many businesses are dealing with shrinking budgets.

"By deploying Oracle Database Appliance organizations can benefit from a reliable system that significantly reduces the time spent on routine system administration and maintenance, lowering operational costs, and allowing IT personnel to focus on higher value activities," the InfoWorld report stated.

The webinar will offer companies using Oracle solutions insight into achieving quality service at low cost, establish best practices for multiple deployments and lower upfront hardware and software investments, InfoWorld said.

Oracle president Mark Hurd said at the Oracle OpenWorld Tokyo conference.that 65 percent of the world's enterprise information is stored on Oracle databases. To ensure database performance is achieved, companies are encouraged to simplify their IT infrastructures as much as possible to address rapid data growth.
