Oracle launches RightNow, Fusion Sales integration

Monday, May 21, 2012

Database giant Oracle recently announced that its customer experience application RightNow CX Cloud Service is now integrated with its Fusion Sales solution to help organizations achieve consistent business growth and revenue opportunities.

The vendor said the integration of the two solutions will help companies match customer needs more effectively based on their preferences and buying history, as well as determine new ways to improve conversion rates.

Oracle group vice president David Vap noted that the RightNow CX Cloud Service and Fusion Sales integration effectively identifies customer and business interactions.

"When these interactions are relevant and add value for customers, customers are more likely to trust the relationship and seek purchase advice," said Vap. "This customer trust provides an opportunity to increase customer product adoption and to reduce the cost of customer acquisition, thereby increasing company profitability."

Oracle has been busy pushing new solutions to help organizations leverage the power of cloud computing. While the database giant has launched virtualization and server products to improve overall Oracle performance for companies using its solutions, the cloud is expected to be the next target market. Network Computing's Liam Lahey recently suggested that Oracle has almost $30 billion in cash to position itself in the cloud industry.
