Database giant Oracle appears to be backing the use of cloud computing and is providing proper support as organizations migrate to the technology. For example, the company recently announced that CISDI Information Technology has selected its Exalogic Elastic Cloud and Oracle Exadata Database Machine to establish its cloud platform.
Oracle announced that CISDI INFO is hoping its new cloud infrastructure will provide more effective solutions for its customers and make it a more attractive technology vendor.
CISDI INFO CEO Li Zhiyou noted that the Oracle cloud solutions will help support its internal information management more effectively and customize its cloud services.
"The platform can also help us realize our goal of becoming the 'International Engineered Technology Company and the Engineered Technology Service Provider - the first choice of steel companies,'" said Zhiyou.
Earlier this month Oracle launched its new lineup of Sun x86 servers to help organizations running its software and applications to boost their Oracle performance even further. According to the vendor, the solutions were designed with cloud computing in mind and will help organizations using the technology, virtualization and system management options achieve greater reliability and results.
