Sales Lead Development Representative Job Code: LDR

Description:

Develop qualified prospects for the Confio sales team. Primary responsibility is to assist with the execution of lead generation programs and contact prospects to identify requirements, determine level of interest, and seek out referrals in the target accounts. Specific duties include warm and cold sales calls, email contact, and detailed documentation and analysis of results. This position reports to the Director of Marketing and will work closely with senior sales staff to support revenue targets.

Qualifications

Outgoing, energetic, sales oriented person. Computer technology aptitude and ability to learn technical topics at level required to converse with corporate software sales prospects. This is an entry level opportunity for motivated individuals seeking to begin a career in high end business and technology sales. Four year degree required. Previous sales experience in IT is a plus.

Compensation:

Base salary plus full benefits. Bonus programs based on achieving targets for prospect development. This is not a commissioned sales position, and achievement of bonuses is not dependent on individual sales results.

Pre-Sales DBA Job Code: DBA

Description:

Confio Software is a dynamic and growing developer of enterprise IT performance management tools. We are seeking a customer oriented Oracle DBA to play a key role in technical sales and support efforts. The position is located in our Boulder, Colorado headquarters.

Key responsibilities:

  1. Technical sales support of customers and prospects to ensure success during pre-sales efforts
  2. Consultation on database performance problems and solutions using Confio products
  3. Develop strategies and messages to overcome product shortcomings
  4. Creation and delivery of demonstrations to highlight benefits of Confio products
  5. Informal training of customers on use of Confio products
  6. Support and resolution of installed prospect and customer issues

Compensation:

Base salary with bonus based on team achievement of goals. Full benefits package plus stock options.

Experience:

Outgoing, customer oriented DBA with strong knowledge and practical skills in performance tuning of Oracle DBMS using Oracle and other vendor's tuning tools. Oracle DBA experience in large enterprise, in areas of performance tuning, administration and SQL development. Knowledge of J2EE and enterprise applications (ERP, accounting, CRM or similar) is a benefit.

Outstanding interpersonal communications skills, both verbal and written. Sales and customer problem solving orientation. Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a dynamic environment, and demonstrated ability to be responsive to customer technical and business concerns.

Ideal candidate has performed pre- or post- sales support role (Systems Engineer) for database, performance tools, or enterprise software vendor.
