Formerly DBFlash for Oracle, Renaming Fits New End-to-End Capabilities

January 16, 2006 – Boulder, CO - Confio Software, the leading innovator of Wait-Time based Application Performance Management software, today announced that DBFlash™ for Oracle has been renamed as Ignite™ for Oracle. This new name reflects the expansion of Confio's Application Performance Management Suite beyond the original database performance tool. With this release Confio establishes the framework for a suite of new product releases to address end-to-end performance management across a multi-layer system.

By providing continuous end-to-end visibility of IT transactions, Confio's products enable companies to optimize service levels for end users, both internal and external. Ignite for Oracle Version 5.1 is available immediately from the Confio website. Ignite replaces all DBFlash functionality and is fully compatible with past DBFlash releases. All supported customers of DBFlash for Oracle are encouraged to upgrade to the Ignite release.
